Early morning departure through Pennsylvania en route to Washington, DC. Time permitting, a stop will be made at an Amish market. The Amish preserve the elements of late 17th-century European rural culture. Arrive in Washington, D.C., the nation's capital, in the early evening.

Day 6 : WASHINGTON, D.C.
Our morning panoramic sightseeing tour is devoted to the landmarks and monuments of this great city: the White House, the Washington Monument, Arlington Cemetery, the Supreme Court and the Capitol. Afternoon is free to explore one of the Smithsonian museums, such as the National Air and Space Museum.

Day 7 : WASHINGTON, D.C. – LOS ANGELES

Day 11 : GRAND CANYON - MONUMENT VALLEY - PAGE / LAKE POWELL – KANAB

This morning continue along the south rim of the Grand Canyon to the Painted Desert and Monument Valley, land of the Navajo Indian. The valley’s unforgettable landscapes include mesas, buttes and rock spires. After Monument Valley, continue along to Page and Lake Powell, one of the largest man-made lakes. Later in the afternoon, cross the Colorado River and travel on to your final destination: Kanab, known as Utah’s "Little Hollywood".

Day 12 : KANAB - BRYCE CANYON - ZION - LAS VEGAS (323 M / 519 KM)
Early morning departure for the visit of yet another spectacular national park : Bryce Canyon. The canyon has a symphony of colors and shapes that will leave you breathless. Continue on to Zion National Park, a popular destination with rock climbers for its unique landscapes and majestic plateaus. The wonders continue at our final destination Las Vegas, the city of lights and entertainment.

Day 13 : LAS VEGAS
Enjoy a day of leisure in Las Vegas. You have the choice to visit some of the spectacular hotels, take one of the many optional excursions offered, or simply relax by the pool. Las Vegas has something for everyone and you have the whole day to explore this world famous city.

Day 14 : LAS VEGAS – YOSEMITE/MARIPOSA (477 M / 768 KM)
Today you will journey via the Mojave Desert and through the dusty, picturesque town of Bakersfield. A scenic ride follows through the San Joaquin Valley’s traditional towns like Fresno, Merced and the Yosemite gateway town of Mariposa before your arrival at Yosemite National Park, the second national park in the nation and the most popular natural tourist destination for California.

Day 15 : YOSEMITE
Enjoy the highlights of the park including Yosemite Valley, and its high cliffs and waterfalls; the Yosemite Museum and Gallery and historic Wawona hotel; Mariposa Grove and its giant sequoias, and Inspiration Point, a spectacular view of Yosemite Valley and the high country.The park is also known for its wildlife: mule deer, coyotes, chipmunks, blue jays and occasionally even bears.

Leaving Mariposa you will travel through the area of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, California’s gold country, on the way to “The City by the Bay”. Upon arrival, city sightseeing of one of the most beautiful cities in America: Union Square, Chinatown, Golden Gate Park and Fisherman’s Wharf with a view of infamous Alcatraz island across the bay.

Day 17 : SAN FRANCISCO
Day at leisure to enjoy San Francisco with its beautiful views, famous cable cars, parks and museums. You have the possibility of an optional tour to the quaint village of Sausalito in the morning.

Day 18 : SAN FRANCISCO - MONTEREY / CARMEL – SANTA MARIA AREA (305 M/ 490 KM)
Leave San Francisco and travel to Monterey, California’s first capital. After a stop in this beautiful seaside town travel along stunning 17-Mile Drive known for its exclusive golf courses, beautiful views and distinctive fauna. After seeing the beauty of the 17-Mile Drive, visit the quaint and charming village of Carmel. Continue southward to Santa Maria in the heart of California.

Day 19 : SANTA MARIA AREA - LOS ANGELES (159 M / 255 KM)

Day 3
Tour into Denali National Park this morning. Watch for Alaskan wildlife and weather permitting; Mt. McKinley may be visible in its breathtaking splendor. Day 4
Travel by luxury motor coach to the small village of Talkeetna, the junction of three rivers and great views of the south side of Mt. McKinley. Once there you’ll have free time for optional activities such as flightseeing and river tours. Overnight Talkeetna. (B)

Day 5
This morning travel by motor coach to Portage Lake to cruise aboard MV Ptarmigan. Your ship’s captain takes you to within 300 yards of Portage Glacier. After the cruise travel to the resort village of Girdwood for Alyeska Resort enjoying the beautiful mountain surroundings. (B)

Day 6
After breakfast, transfer to Seward. On arrival, embark on an adventure cruise along the dramatic Kenai Fjords National Park. Enjoy lunch on board while watching for whales, sea lions, porpoises, sea otters and many bird species inhabiting the cliffs and rocky shore. Overnight Seward. (B, L)

Day 7
Free morning in Seward for an optional tour of the Alaska SeaLife Center before transferring to Anchorage. In the afternoon tour Alaska’s largest city, including the Alaska Native Heritage Center. This evening enjoy a farewell dinner at the Sourdough Mining Company. Overnight Anchorage. (B, D)

Tour Length: 11 Nights / 12 Days (From Vancouver - Calgary)

Day 1 : Vancouver
Upon arrival in Vancouver, transfer to your downtown Vancouver hotel (transfer not included).

Day 2 : Vancouver
A morning sightseeing excursion will start off your day in Vancouver with visits to Chinatown, Gastown and Stanley Park. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

Day 3 : Victoria
Enjoy a full-day motorcoach excursion to Victoria, the capital city of British Columbia. You will board a ferry for the spectacular 90 minute cruise through B.C.'s Gulf Islands to Vancouver Island. Once on the island, you will visit the world-renowned Butchart Gardens as well as several of Victoria's scenic and historic highlights. The remainder of your day is at leisure.

Day 4 : Vancouver
Your morning is at leisure for perhaps more sightseeing on your own or to explore the many shops and sidewalk cafes. Late this afternoon, transfer once again to the ferry terminal and board the ferry back to British Columbia's mainland. You will be transferred to your chosen Vancouver hotel.

Day 5 : Whistler
Your motorcoach adventure begins this morning departing from Vancouver International Airport or selected downtown Vancouver hotels, along the Sea to Sky Highway to Whistler. A free afternoon will provide opportunity to explore this resort before spending the night in your selected Whistler hotel.

Day 6 : Lac Le Jeune
A late morning departure from Whistler will take you eastbound into the interior of British Columbia. Travel through the scenic mountain ranges and glaciers of Duffey Lake Road with a lunch stop at the historic village of Lillooet. Continue on through Cache Creek and Kamloops areas to arrive at Lac Le Jeune Resort in time for evening dinner.

Day 7 : Lake Louise
After breakfast, depart for your onward journey to the Canadian Rockies. Following a lunch stop in Revelstoke your motorcoach journey will continue over the Kicking Horse Pass and the Continental Divide to arrive at Lake Louise, the 'Jewel of the Rockies' for your evening stay.

Day 8 : Jasper
Today your journey will take you northwards along the Icefields Parkway - the most scenic mountain highway in the world. After a stop at the Athabasca Glacier to ride on a Brewster Ice Explorer (seasonal*), you will continue on to Jasper for your two nights stay.

Day 9 : Jasper
Enjoy a morning excursion of the Jasper townsite including surrounding lakes and canyons. An afternoon cruise on Maligne Lake (seasonal*), with a stop at the famous Spirit Island, will provide opportunity to photograph one of the most famous lakes in the world.

Day 10 : Banff
This afternoon you will board an express transfer into the resort town of Banff for a two-night stay.

Day 11 : Banff
A morning excursion of Banff with a ride on the Banff Gondola will give you opportunity to experience the many delights of this alpine town. You will also have time to visit the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies.

Day 12 : Calgary
